I am curious what you all think on the idea of Cults in Abingdon. Should they work like factions/guilds? Would you all like to have specific ritual locales or "cultist headquarters"?
Also I have not really discussed this with Abi or Mavis yet but I figured it might be fun and engaging to get the ball rolling with a discussion! :D
I also think it somewhat fitting that as a servant of the "Eldritch God of Knowledge" I am starting this discussion.~ :Dc
If it were findable by mundane or others of witchy they might be defiled. I would suggest very well hidden if not portable.
Thanks for the replies @wickedwitchywillow and @Borough Abingdon ! That's just the sort of input I was looking for! :D That being the case then, what about Ritual Sites? Would anyone be interested in having larger more permanent ritual sites or do we want to keep things small scale and do our rituals "at home" so to speak?~
I’ve been avoiding comment ONLY because I want to see what everyone else has to say first! I’ll just add this and back away slowly... There is a cultist in Abingdon. That individual will be looking for people to join them soon. That being said, there aren’t traditional “factions” because, yes - we want roleplay to be organic and not derived from an idea that you have to “stick to your own kind”. However, we welcome, and even encourage players to create their own IC factions! We’re here to help in whatever way we can. Okay, back to you guys!
OOCly: I think Cults are always fun, as far as I know they exist in many different shades. I don't think there are factions per say to keep it organic. I would definitely chat with Abigail and Mavis to see what can be done. They are super when it comes to helping things get moving plot or story wise.
